little confused

My aux cooling fan isn't working. This weekend, I found out my Hypertech fan switch was broke so I replaced it with another Hypertech 200* fan switch I ordered. However, my aux fan still isn't working and i've had the car well over 200*. I jumpered the fan directly to the battery and the motor does spin.
The only thing I can think of now is to replace the relay.

I have done several searches but my results are confusing. I have seen some posts that say the relay is by the passenger side air filter... I have seen others that say the relay is located on the firewall by the brake booster.

Can anyone please clarify where the relay is located?

FYI - car is 89 Formula 350 TPI L98 w/dual fans.

Thank you!!!
