does the A/C use the stock computer for anythng

Just need to know if the stock computer is wired into the A/C system at all. I didtched my computer and all the wiring attached to it and replaced it with a FAST ECU and wiring harness. I want to put A/C back in my car and need to figure out the wiring part of it now.

The A/C sends a signal to the stock ECM to tell the engine to idle up under load. This also kicks on your second fan. I recently finished A/C on my LT1 and I forgot the wire that sends the signal. My car will actually die at a stop light and surges everytime the compressor cycles

Might want to check out your IAC, it should more than be able to compensate, the one LT1 swap i've done that I hooked up the a/c for had no problem with the idle when the comp cycled.

Bottled: your ecu may have an input, if not heck even if so, i'd bet it will compensate on its own.
