help !!!!! emergency!!!!

i had my fan in my 86 iroc rigged up with a switch. now the fan went out. i bought a new one and a painless relay/harness from summit. when installing the wire that is supposed to go to the switch on the passenger head i found a plug instead of a switch. what tool do i need to remove the plug? it appears to be like an allen head but square. i can't find what i need. does an 86 stock 305 have an alternate location for thr fan switch? daily driver must drive it @ 5am. help!!!!!!!!

Don't know the size but a lot of times the head from a 3/8" drive extension fits these plugs.

when i got the car , everything was factory. it was working either off a switch/sensor or the ecm it' just that the switch isn't where it should be.

look on the front of your intake , purple haze. the sensor on the left is the coolant temp sensor. it sends signal to ecm and turns on fan. look through this link.http://www.chevythunder.com/fuel inj...lect. pg B.htm
