84 Z28 Electric raditor fan not working

I have a 1984 z28 Camaro with a single electrical cooling fan. I noticed the engine was running really hot and found out the fan was not turning on. I tested the motor which didnt work, and bought a new one, installed it but at 240 degrees it still doesnt turn on. could anyone plz tell me where on the fuse block the fan fuse is as the labes are worn and i cannot find a diagram on a 1984 with an elecrtric fan. or if anyone has had the same problem plz let me know. thanks

The manual for my 85 says that the fuse for the electric fan (10 amp) is in slot number 2. Top left of box is number 1; the next over on the right is number 2.
