What's the best Electirc Water Pump?

I was wondering exactly what the best electric water pump out there. I was think about the CSI water pump. I only have a stock radiator and Be Cool radiator fan. I have a 383 and once it gets up towards 170 and once I turn it off it takes awhile to cool down. What would you recommend? It is a drag car by the way.

I use the Proform electric pump. JEGS High Performance - Proform Electric Water Pumps I have a stock radiator with this pump and a Proform fan. After a pass im sitting on 180. turn the car off let the pump and fan run for about 2 min and its down to 140.

I bought the Moroso alternator kit that moves it to the lower driver side.

I have the Summit Elec. Water pump, with a Powermaster lowermount Race Alternator, and manual steering. The only thing the motor runs is the Alternator. I'll see if I can find a picture..

For mine, I am going to route it from the crank to the PS, up towards the alternator, under the tensioner, around the AC, and down back to the crank.

what size of restrictor are you using or do you even use one? or do you still run thermostat-i doubt? I am thinking of using the proform pump and use a restrictor in place of the thermostat.

thanks,

It is good to hear that the Proform pump is used by someone considering that is actually the pump I am thinking about.
