gauge needle problem

gauge needle problem

my temp needle is moving at start up then all of a sudden doesnt move at all. stays right under 100 degrees...just like the car is not running...? What could this be? my fans come on im sure of...i drive it for 1 and half to two hours periods two to three times a week

Check the single wire connector to the temp sensor on the drivers side head.

On the driver's side, between the #1 & #3 spark plugs, temperature gauge sending unit. If your budget limited you might want to go to the library and check out a repair manual or better yet see if they have a subscription to the alldata website.
