aluminum radiator cleaning

I just bought a aluminum radiator, it was used but not too hard. it is dirty from sitting. is there anything i should use to really clean it good or is just engine degreeser or oven cleaner good. I don't know if aluminum acid would work or should i see if that cleaner the hvac guys use would be best. thanks for any advice.

Re: aluminum radiator cleaning

we use this awesome chemical at a radiator shop i work at. youd have to wait till monday to find out what we use because all i know is its in a big sprayer bottle and smells like rotten eggs and foams up when it hits aluminum and makes it insanely clean and cant eat away at the aluminum. so if you still need somthing by then ill ask my boss what it is and where you can get it.
