Heater/Air conditioner Duct Work

My cars system only blows on defrost setting regardless of where the switch is. Is this something electrical or mechanical? How much of the dash do I have to take out to get to the stuff.

Re: Heater/Air conditioner Duct Work

Consider a search. This problem, a vac leak, is common to our cars. Defrost is the default.
