flowkooler waterpump
I have a flowkooler water pump that im trying to use with my bbk underdrive pulleys off my serpentine set up for my 92 tbi 305 but the holes for the bolts dont line up with the waterpump holes. The waterpump is for 85 to 87 camaros but i dont think there is a differnece in the bolt holes between years. I was wondering if anyone was running one of these and which pulley they used? Its part number 1773 pump.

Re: flowkooler waterpump
didnt the 85-87 have v belts?
I had the same problem with my flowkooler pump... i ended up using a stocker from autozone that works good.
or if you have a drill and a tap set you could just mount the pulley on the pump and use the holes on the pulley as a guide to drill and tap some new holes.

I believe your `92 is a reverse rotation set-up and the 85-87 are standard rotation. The two don`t mix, don`t interchange. The 1773 pump will fit earlier models, you need the 1774 for your `92. I had the same problem with my Iroc.

Re: flowkooler waterpump
matts, I got a lot of conflicting info from Flow Cooler, Summit and Jegs about the 1773 pump and decided to go with Stewart. If your car is `88 and up with the serpentine belt, you for sure need the reverse rotation pump as I said before. A Flow Cooler tech told me that the 1773 was multi-directional, would work either direction. Summit said yes, Jegs said no. Play it safe and get what you know is the correct part.
