AC Delet question

I have one very interesting question to ask. Has anyone on here every tried to do an AC delet, on a serpentine system, and NOT use the AC and Smog pump bracket. If so i would like to see some pictures of how you did it.

Re: AC Delet question

Aye tis not hard. You can remove anything you want from the serp system. On AC, you have to go over the tensioner instead of under (so that it's pulling away from the alternator. The down from the alterator around the steering pump. Up to and around the waterpump then down around the drivers side of the crankshaft pulley and finally a straight line up to the tensioner. To figure out the length, get a buddy to keep some tension off the tensioner, and use a nylon string to get a rough estimate of length. Then test a few sizes at the auto parts store.
