Are there common places that A/C will leak?
Apparently, I have a refrigerant leak since my A/C no longer blows cold. Are there any common places these cars leak from that I should check first after I recharge it?

check the manifold seals on the back of the compressor, all the o-rings at the line fittings, all the line crimps, and all the hoses and the compressor. It would be better to check everything before reloading the system so that you won't have to do it all over again.

I think that's right. O-rings seem to be a very common failure, maybe even the most common.

O-Rings!!!! keep in mind the original R12's molecule's are bigger thank 134a, this means if you have a 134a retrofit, that in SOME cases the 134a can seap out of the hose, im not saying it will happen to every retro fit, but it does in some cases, i much rather have my R12, i still got the original charge in mine, its had one can put in it in 18 years, guess im lucky, but if i ever have a problem im going back with 12, but i got a source to get some so hehehe, but to be back at the point O-Rings, also get a can of dye and a black light, it makes it so easy to find a leak, just make sure to check with the black light before you put any in just incase someone else did it and never cleaned up the dye.
