running hot need help

running hot need help

well my car is getting really hot like 210-230 all the time. i have a be cool rad. with two fans ,160 stat , air dam, trans cooler with own fan. and have checked levels

what did it use to run at? 210 is a good temperature even though alot of people will argue till there blue in the face otherwise....

in old car 190 with stock rad. and fan.

crank ur car up and go look at the bottom hose and pull the throttle some i can see mine trying to colapse a lil at about 2k rpms....they make the hoses with the coil in them so this doesnt happen seems to be a problem for us...

did u have 10 to 1 compression on your old car.
ive got 10.8 to 1, i just started going around the block on mine and it seemed to go above 200 pretty quickly. i think im gonna get a bigger fan, i have enough room so why not. i changed the thermostat to 160 (from 180) and it seems to stay in the middle for a longer while. but i dont know, thinking of maybe playing w/ tha timming abit
