How bad is this setup?
How bad is this setup?
Ok.. so i just had a bunch of stuff installed and the guy claimed that none of the things fit perfectly.. so he says he had to move around a couple of things in the engine bay to make it all fit.. so he tells me that he took out my cooling lines.. basically he says the oil has a direct line and no longer goes through the cooling part or whatever.. i am just a little worried that this is bad for the car but he was saying i will be fine driving around just that i get my oil changed every 3,000 miles.. is this ok or should i be worried?

where did you go? that doestn sound right theres always a way to set it up right it sounds like he took the cheap route, your car will have insanely hot oil now which is retarded because oil serves 2 functions : lubricate and to pull the heat from the motor through to flow of cool(er) oil rushing in. you just took 1 step forward and one step back.
id go back and ask him wtf he was thinking
