overheating
When im driving, it gets right up around 210, and stays there. Even when im on the highway.
and it seems like my defrosters dont blow unless there on high. It looks like theres a little antifreeze on my lower radiator line, but not alot of it.
any sugestions?

Re: overheating
agreed....210 is actually factory where it's supposed to run....
Re: overheating
The same issue is happening to with my 1986 IROC-Z, I noticed that my fan motor was running slow. I'll be looking into it this weekend, I'm undecided in replacing the fan motor or upgrading to an after market dual fan setup.
Re: overheating
I had forgot to reinstall the plastic air dam, this weekend I reinstalled it. I took the car for a test drive and I could not get the car to heat up even in Miami traffic, it never went past 170 ~ 180 degrees.
Make sure you have your radiator air dam installed properly.

Re: overheating
well you might wanna make sure you ONLY have coolant/antifreeze in it. if you have just water it will get real hot for no reason
hope this helped

Make sure your cooling system is holding pressure.
That will make it get real hot for no reason.

Re: overheating
i agree with the air dam comment.
it makes a huge difference.
i can completely disconnect my fans, and as long as i am going more than 15 mph, the car wont heat up past 160 or so (160* thermostat)

Re: overheating
mine usually runs around 180-200 when the outside temp is around 70 or below. when the temp gets around upper 70's and above it runs around 210-220. and that's normal for it. has the outside temp gotten hotter where you are at?
