Looking for Radiator Fan Relay Connector
Anybody got any leads on the connector that goes into the Radiator Fan Relay on an 84 Z with the L69 305 with single fan.
Has five connectors with the fifth one blanked out.
Relay had a melt down and took the darn connector with it.
Every car I've checked in the junk yard has been melted also.
No success with classic industries or GMpartsDirect.
Thanks for any help or leads.

Re: Looking for Radiator Fan Relay Connector
all i can suggest is junkyards.
if you are keen on wiring, the order is, from the side with the "notch":
orange - brown - green/white - black
black goes to the fan
orange is from the battery
brown and green/white are the signal and ground.
if it were me, id get a new relay, cut the original wiring, crimp on female connectors, and plug them into the relay.
your other option would be to call painless wiring and see if they have anything that can help you.
they probably can find you a connector

Re: Looking for Radiator Fan Relay Connector
Looked at autozone and could find the fan relay, but not the connector that goes to it.
myroc, do you have the part# for the connector they gave you?
RED_DRAGON, thanks, but like I said. All the ones in the junkyard were in a near-dead melted state.
Was hoping to melt the next one myself....

Re: Looking for Radiator Fan Relay Connector
Sorry to hijack your thread but where is this relay and connector located? I just finished a 350 swap in my '84Z and my fan won't kick on. I haven't cut any wires yet, but I eliminated the AC. Also does the tach need the original computer controlled HEI? I'm having a bunch of electrical gremlins!! Tach, oil pressure, fan, alt gauge any help would be great.

since you are new, i will simply tell you to start a new thread.
depending on your intake setup (tpi tbi or carb) there are wiring diagrams that should help you out with your electrical gremlins.
you can find them in the tech articles section iirc
better yet...
