engine leaking

ok sorry if this is long.....today i drove my friend to the airport and on my way home i noticed my temp guage reading between 175 and 185 now i know thats not a bad temp but my car normally doesnt go any higher then 160 at all i have a 86 berli with the stock electric fan and the stock radiator. when i opened the hood to see if there was anything noticable i heard a sound like air was escaping....so i looked every where and i found on top of the motor it looked like a gasket had went and it was minor leakage like a small little hole but idk the piece it was what ever the thermostat housing bolted too it loked like it was seperate from the intake manifold....can anyone help and tell me what part that is so i can fix it and drive at ease again
