Radiator top hold down bracket

I am looking for the bracket that holds down the radiator. I have seen some camaros with this piece polished and made of metal instead of plastic. Could someone please tell me were i could find this part. Thanks

There's a stainless steel job I see floating around on ebay for like $70 that's all nice and shiny.

thats just a stick on cover, not the actual radiator support.

there are no aftermarket support for the 3rd gen. A guy here has a universal chrome one modified to fit, but not a bolt on deal by any stretch.

Most people have a piece of aluminum bent on a brake to the desired shape, then painted, polished, chromed ect.

Maybe it wasn't ebay I saw them at - but I'm pretty sure what I saw was NOT a sticker, it was a real stainless steel radiator top cover - I'll do some more hunting.

Someone on ebay had them as well at lower price, but not as nice.

Re: Radiator top hold down bracket

buy a piece of aluminum and bend it your self. it doesnt take very much time and you dont have to be a fabricating expert to build one. take to a shop and have them buff the shine in it. unless you have your own materials for buffing out aluminum. itll look good and youll have the satisfaction of saying "i built this, didnt buy it"
