377 with 4 core radiator?

i know that there have always been overheating problems with 400 sbc, well thats what i have been told, and i have also been told that it would be best to get a 4 core radiator, i am wondering if i could get away with a 3 core aluminum with a dual fan setup? im looking at making 450 hp and there will be no a/c condenser in front of the radiator. do you guys think that would work just as good as a 4 core? thanks Ty.

400s aren't any harder to cool than any other SBC of the same output.

Re: 377 with 4 core radiator?

so if i went with a aluminum 3 core with dual fan i should have no problems with keeping it cool, as long as everything is setup how it should be?

I wouldn't expect it to be a problem.

200 is "hot", but not overheated yet.
