Cold Air Intake
Hi, does anyone happen to know where i can find a cold air intake for a 1988 camaro IROC-Z 305 TPI? any help would be great! thanks in advance.

Im bulding mine um pretty sure they dont sell one for our cars...... Start by buying a plenum...... a good site to see really neat set ups is.... www.spectreperformance.com look at there catalogs.....

you already have a cold air intake on your tpi. They work better than most aftermarket intakes. The aftermarket ones are low restriction hot air intakes. Just cut the baffles under your air lid, and either buy or make the air boxes. You can get them from Hawks

The most simpliest thing to do is to cut out the air box baffles and then drop in two k&n filters and you should know an small gain. Good luck!

. thats what i did to mine. unless you want to make your own air intake, the engine heats up a bit quicker. i also made my own air boxes and cut the VERY restricting bottom from where the air filters go. f-body motorsports no longer make K&N air filters for our cars whre you have to redirect the battery to the trunk. your best bet is definetly with the custom air boxes for sure
