bypassing heater core

bypassing heater core

i have a 91 rs. can i just bypass the heat system altogether by running a single hose from the outlet at the back of my motor by the distributor to the inlet by the radiator cap?

Ive bypassed mine until I have time to install my new heater core but mine is a tpi so mine went from the front at the tpi direct to the rad.
Wht size of motor do you have .

its a 305. tbi. i looked at all the hoses and which way the coolant ran thru them and i think it should be ok.

Yes you can, the outlet on the intake is 5/8 and the inlet on the radiator is 3/4 so you will need an adapter some where in between.
