What Temp should the Fans kick in?

I was wondering when should the fans kick in? It's a 87 GTA 5.7(350) it has the dual electric fans.

is it a tpi?
the cpu fan (driver side) kicks in at 223 F
i don't remember the 2nd one ( maybe 238 F) but always too late.. i putted a manual switch on it!

Thanxs man, yes its a TPI. both of my fans kick in at the same time at about 230F more/less. What should i do to get the running properly?

if your fans run, there aren't relays problems.
i guess you have a bad wiring, or a bad temp sending unit, or a modified ecm temp.
so the primary fan doesn't start (223 F) and you have to wait till the secondary fan kicks in (stock 234 F).
i've got a 88 350 tpi and i confirm that the secondary fan swithes on the primary fan too (if it isn't alredy on).. tried myself grounding the secondary fan relay.
