Different water temp sensor size!?
I have an 85 z28 which originally came with a 305 4bbl, it now has a 350 out of I'm guessing about an early 80's suburban. Is the bigger temp sensor the same ohms as the smaller 305 sensor? I need to know so I can get my water temp gauge working.
Also if anyone has a lower fan shroud for a mechanical fan for a camaro please let me know.

It should be the same Ω however you can check it an ohmmeter.
With engine ‘cold’ (even tho it might be 95° from sitting outside all day) the sensor should read about 1400Ω.
