Anyone have an idea for me? 2nd heater core hose re-route issue.

I removed my heater core & my heater control valve. I removed the main heater hose entirely. I then took the 2nd heater valve control hose which curved downward and installed an adapter between it & the hose that comes off the side of the throttle body. I put some clamps on and it looks way better than before.

Next. My 2nd heater hose that's all the way against the firewall that hooks to a pipe below it that runs all the way back towards the radiator is so small and it curves that it's hard to deal with. I need to get it re-routed so coolant doesn't bust threw it again. Yeah, I had an explosion of coolant all under my hood when I test drove it yesterday. My idea to cap it off didn't work since the pressure of the coolant was too much. Go figure

But anywho, I need to fix this and get the hose hooked up to another hose re-routed. I've got some ideas but so far they're not panning out as too bright. I could use some bright ideas. Here are a couple of pics showing where my re-routed hoses are. The back one you can't see.

I would just check and make sure you have all the coolant going the correct dirrection. I think you might have made 2 lines push into each other and that would have caused your explosion.

No, it wasn't that. The only reason I know that is because the 2nd small heater core hose that I mentioned before that's against the firewall, well I had put a cap in it and put the clamp over that piece of hose to tighten up hoping it wouldn't burst. I was wrong, lol.

Below are 3 pics of what I did today. Today I did the throttle bypass mod by running a 3 ft. hose from the 2nd heater core hose to the front hose that connects to one of the water/coolant outlets. My problem now is the other water/coolant outlet on the intake manifold needs a plug so I won't lose coolant.

What is your recommendation? Can I plug that up and be done with it because that is what I'd like to do. I've spent alot of time on this but not too much yet. Thank you for your advice.

I may have not read your post correctly but why not just connect the heater core in hose to the heater core out hose?

I hope you dont live were it gets cold. Heater core cost about $50 dont take my word for it

I just did a heater core delete a week ago after installing the brand new heater core. I did it mainly for the knowledge, not because I need it. During the winter it gets real cold here but it's not a winter driver, so it doesn't matter.

I finally fixed my hose problem today and bought a Y-piece that allowed me to keep the hoses in one area. I appreciate the feedback guys.
