DIY Tranny cooler flush

I got a oil cooler (will be used as tranny cooler) from a Jeep , i'm curious how people clean fluid coolers , i was wondering do this procedure in various steps :

1) Run a bit of "El Cheapo" Lacquer Thinner on inlet
2) Punch compressed air on inlet
3) Run a bit of "El Cheapo" Lacquer Thinner on outlet
4) Punch compressed air on outlet
5) Punch air on both sides
6) Let it sit for 1 day
7) Punch air on both sides , again
8) Run a bit of ATF on inlet and puch air on inlet (repeat one time)
9) Install

Suggestions ?

thx
