82 tran am cooling

82 tran am cooling

This might sound funny,but I looked at a 82 trans am on my way to work the other day and didn't have long to look.Is the cooling on that thing a machanical fan or electric

Not 100% sure but my 84 T/A with an LG4 engine had a mechanical fan.

Was it CFI or carb'd?

'82 trans am came with a 7-blade clutch fan of 17"dia.
One '82 LU5 trans am i looked at had an aluminum
core radiator,but though it looked original it might not
have been.(4-82 build date)
