HEAT WONT WORK! its soo cold outside! :(

I was told that i didnt have to have an AC condensor for my heat to work...but its not working, its just blowing air. My radiator is good, my heating core is good, and my engine is good. One person told me to change the thermostat on my car but i wanted to get a second opinion and what best place to come then to thirdgen. please help me! thanks

ok first off, does your engine even get to operating temperature? at least above *100 degrees on your gauge?(should be alot higher anyway).. if so, does you heater control lever work, or connected to the blend door still? is your heater control valve functioning still?

Beat The Heat

The Heater Control Valve is located near the top front right of the engine and has 3 hoses going to it.

The Blend Door is a movable flap in the air path which selects how much air shall pass thru the Heater Core.

The Blend Door is controlled by the Slider on the HVAC panel.

COOL▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬WARM

When you quickly move the Slider back and forth you should be able to hear the Blend Door hitting the stops, and a change in the sound the air is making.

Happy Racing!
