i have a generation 2 lt1 with casting 327 on side of block
but i am confused because it has a mechanical old school iron cooling fan mounted on a surp idler pully not on water pump .i am trying to find out what kind of car this is out of.i also am looking for a wiring harness 4 it

that came from a chevy caprice,buick roadmaster,ETC
with H/D cooling or towing pac-standard cooling setup
has two electric fans.

your saying it came with a mechanical fan or it was an add on?

anyway lose that mechanical fan and run dual electric fans and you will be fine.
