Relocating Heater Diverter Valve

I got tired of my heater diverter valve getting in the way so I moved it, with only buying one hose and a short piece of alum. Basically I flipped it upside down, moved it close to the a/c accumulator and spliced in a J-molded hose (cut back some of the existing hoses). Bent up a flat piece of alum. as a bracket to tuck the hose closer to the a/c box using existing fastener holes, but not necessary.

Note: I haven't fired it up yet, so it's untested.

Re: Relocating Heater Diverter Valve

i just removed mine since its just to keep coolant out of the heater core when not in use. well most car the coolant just goes through the heater core so a few cuts and removed the plastic peace of sh*t and reroute the hoses ive been like this for a few years now on my daily driver and no problems. i do have some pics if you would like to see it
