86 TPI To 88 Serpentine setup, will A/C Compressor work?

I have a 1986 305 TPI, I am swapping in a 1988 serpentine setup, I know I need a new compressor, and lines for the A/C, but I am also wonder about the electrical plugs... Does the 1988 compressor have 2 plugs on it? one for clutch, and one to the a/c system? Are they the same as a 1986?

You have to replace EVERYTHING - you'll need a serpentine waterpump, compressor, smog pump, p/s pump, and alternator. NOTHING from a V-belt car swaps over to the serp belt brackets.

The rear one should be the same and the clutch plug went from a rectangle shaped spade plug to a weatherpack style, iirc.

Awesome, thats what I needed to know..Also quick easy question, A/c Lines http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-92...item5643d7d1f4
Will these work on a 86... the a/c condessor isnt different or moved right? And is the the plug for clutch like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-92-TPI-TBI-Camaro-A-C-Compressor-Harness-Connector-/360119473391?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53d8cb14ef
Also any idea of the alternator plug? its a 2 wire on a 86, pretty sure its different, thats the only part i need if the above parts will work

I already have a water pump, alternator, and power steering pump with the serpentine brackets from a 1988 TA.. I purchsed them from a member on this site, now I need is a A/C compressor(my old one was shot anyways) Smog delete pulley and necessary new plugs fro A/C compressor, and alternator! This is all in preparation for a blower kit....

I just upfit AC onto my car after swapping from v-belt to Serp years ago. Had to splice on the new plug for the clutch and put the high pres. switch in the back of the ac compressor, but the plug reached.

On the hoses, unless you're on a uber-tight budget, I'd just buy new. The only thing 'old' on my system is the evaporator in the dash. I flushed it good prior to putting R134 in it....I haven't used the system yet, hoping it lasts a good long time.
