blower motor question

Transmission: 700r4 in both.
Axle/Gears: Iroc 3.27 Firebird 3.23
blower motor question

hey all on this 86 iroc I'm going to replace my blower motor, it has 2 spade terminals on it, and the replacement one only has 1.do I just ground the other one? any suggestions greatly appreciated

You go without AC and consider it weight reduction.

Dunno. I'd ground it and see what happens. But seriously, yanking that compressor can take some decent weight off of the front end!

yeah I know. that's a project for another day. blower motor doesn't work, no heat. mornings here are still a bit chilly

well wasnt the blower motor, or the relay. least i know there both new lol. any ideas?

sorry stone, been away for awhile. you turn it on, noting at all happens. i replaced everything but the resistor, in which i cant seem to find the right one.

the one i have in there is different from factory i think, its got the 4 prongs. same shape as factory. but factory has the 3 prongs with 3 prong plug. one that was in there seeems to be out of an 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais 5.0

Have you checked the fuse or, for power at the resistor ?
It is possible the fuse could be bad or, the fan switch inside the car is no longer working.

yeah fuses are fine, it has new blower motor, relay, resistor, switch. not getting power to it seems reasonable
