Flex-a-lite Syclone S-Blade Electric Fan?? opinions?
Flex a lite 398 - Flex a lite Syclone s-balde electric fan
16" Diameter
2500 CFM
$123
Looking at getting a new fan for the car, but not spending tons of money on one and found the one above.
I looked in search but could not find anything on it.
Just wondering if anybody has used this fan and if it works in a place where summers usually stay in the mid 90's?
Thanks

i have used that fan before and it is a good fan/ but if you search ebay you can find a set of lt1 or ls1 fans for the same price and they are 2 fans with a shroud. what were you going to use to control the fan.

The manual switch seems to be working pretty good for me though.

Flex-a-lite makes great controllers for the fans - I highly recommend getting one, and skip trying to fix the factory setup. With a better fan controller, you could skip the new fan! I'm running stock TBI single fan on my car, but with my adjustable controller, I set the temp myself - with a 180 stat and fan set to 190, I never see over 200 - and my motor is quite a bit warmer than the old 305 was.

rated at 2500 cfm,i recon that fan has slightly higher
airflow capacity than a stock single fan-should work
well for a 305.I have used flexalite fans(electric and
belt drive)on a variety of vehicles and found them to
all be of good quality and design.
Salvaged OEM electric fans are by far the best value
for the money, but if you want something clean and new
that flexalite looks like a pretty decent one
