Hey guys, I recently got a 91 L98 Z28 and it has the dual fan set up. I'm quite partial to being able to turn my fans on when I feel like it so I wired in a manual switch for the fans. I've done this before with my 88 TBI car with great success but I'm having an issue this time around. When I turn on the switch it only turns on the passenger side fan. I've searched and I haven't found a definitive answer on how to get them both to turn on at the same time. I don't mind running a secondary fan switch so I can control each fan at will. So how do I wire it in? any help would be awesome.
Both fan relays have a green wire with a white stripe. Tap into both of those with the same wire and connect it to the switch. Connect the other pin on the switch to ground. That's it.

the weird part about that is only ONE relay has the green and white stripe. the other doesn't have one so i don't know what wire to tap into.

i had the same problem 2 days ago. i fixed mine by checking the wires coming directly out of the motor of the fan. there was a melted/corroted splice in the wires. a good way to test your fans is to stick a paperclip in the last two pins in the upper right part of your diagnostic connector. i cant remember the exact letters.
