AC Vent won't switch

I'm trying to figure out what controls the movement of air from the defrost part of the dash the vents...any help would be great. I have already started checking all of the connections behind the control unit and everything still looks to be good shape.

When there's a vac leak, the default setting is defrost.

Thanks bro, I started testing all of the vac's behind the control unit and manually turned on different portions. Not sure what is bad at the moment....thinking it may be the control unit. I think the leak maybe from the vac line in the engine bay to the control unit now....It won't hold any pressure

You might stick your ear to the HAVC and listen. If you hear a leak, your problem probably6 lies with the following part: Valve Vac Sel GM part # 16032395.
