heater core

get a 5/8 to 3/4 connector and remove the 2 hoses from the heater core on the firewall and connect them together

on my 89 camaro replacing the heater core was not difficult at all. As long as you can work upside down on your back then you can get to the 2 difficult screws

Maybe some help here:

A search will no doubt provide more info.

You don't have to take apart the dash, you just gotta take off a few pieces under the passenger side. It took me about an hour , those difficult screws are actually pretty easy. The hard part is just lining up the heater core tubes with the firewall holes. That part took a good 10 minutes
