broke my thing-a-ma-jig

i have a 91 formula. the heater core hoses come from the firewall into a box thingy and then a hose goes to the intake. the box thingy is broke. can anybody tell me what the box thingy is please can get pics posted if needed ty

coming up from the smog pump right in front of the heater diverter valve is a black box would u happen to know the name of this also?

I know what youre talking about, but no clue on what its calls, its part of the A.I.R. system. Useless emissions crap.

it looks like that bolts into the back of the smog pump i'd like to take that and the smog pump off but not sure what belt to get any ideas? thanks again for ur help

you can remove it if you can get away with no emissions. you just have to route the belt differently and get a different sized belt. theres an article somewhere on what size belt to use and how to route it.

https://www.thirdgen.org/serpentine. for removing the smog pump.
