So i took a non ac box and blower from an 80's s10 a few months ago and modified it to fit into my car, the blower motor stopped working on me yesterday, so i went it to the local oriely and asked for a s10 blower motor, they dont even come clo0se to being the same size or shape. The current motors brushes are pretty much gone so i wanted to replace it.

I found the VDO PM102 for the camaro is closer to my style motor that currently in there, i pulled mine out so i could see the size and everything they didnt have a 102 to compare it to so im going off of pictures, the only thing i see different is the dimples on the surface, im assuming theyre for alignment but if its the same depth and the holes line up i should be able to just swap the cage over and call it a day right?

 

try searching rockauto since you don't have a specific year.

 

Look for a part # on yer old 1. In this order tell them this. 3, enter, f7, f8, than put the number in. Look for other cars round that time. Blazer, with AC, suberb, 2nd gen camaro. I wored for OReillys some times u have to dig deep. And was it ez to put the 80s s10 ac del box on I was on here to ask that

 

Ended up running the pm102, very tight on clearance to the fender but I modified it to fit with a 16th of an inch to spare, the pm112 I believe was a better match but unavailable from vdo in the system apparently
