Changing Water Pump and T-Stat

I am changing the water pump and t-stat tomorrow. Got a 180 degree t-stat, and a performance water pump from advanced. How do I need to flush the radiator out and what is the correct ration of coolant-water for these cars. I have a 305 TPI. Thanks

Re: Changing Water Pump and T-Stat

50-50 coolant/water. I buy the concentrated coolant, put 2 gallons in, then fill the jugs with water and pour that in. Then just top it off with the rest. Unless you run into freezing temps, you'll be fine with a higher water concentration which will actually cool better.

For the flush, do a search on the site, that should find what you're looking for.
