What the Hell Happend (A/C quiestion)

Ok i took my 1989 Turbo TA to the shop to have my Valve springs replaced i got it back now the A/C does'nt work ?? just blows out air..is there anything the guy that was working on my car could have Knocked off or maybe diconected around the area where the passenger valve cover is at? or maybe the driver side? I mean the A/C was working perfect before i dropped it off and the car only has 58,000 miles (not sure if that really matters but just throwing it out there)

Please help as this is my daily driver and it is around 90 degrees here in Dallas,tx

Did he forget to reconnect the wiring up to the compressor? There should be a harness that plugs into the high pressure switch in the back of the compressor and another 2 wire harness that plugs into the compressor itself to power the clutch.

That should go to the high pressure switch at the back of the compressor (IIRC the switch is in the back of the compressor held in by a C-Clip).

I am getting ready for my first venture into air conditioning, but from what I understand if the system does not see pressure at this switch it will not cycle the compressor on because it thinks the system is empty and would burn the compressor up running it with no oil.
