Quick Disconnect, O ring, and plastic separator...?
Hi All,
I just installed a new water pump and thermostat on my '91 Firebird 3.1L v6. It's running well and stopped overheating, but I still have a small leak at my coolant connector piece and I think it is because I am putting it in wrong. When I take it out, I have the hose, the quick disconnect, an O-ring, and a plastic separator sleeve. Can anyone help me by telling my how to reassemble these pieces so I can pop it back into the connector piece correctly? Does the plastic separator fit onto the hose before the quick disconnect or does it go in the connector piece before the quick disconnect and the hose? I just want to stop breaking these plastic pieces and stop this leak! HELP!! Thanks!
