Question for those with Throttle Body coolant bypass

I did the throttle body coolant bypass mod on my car using a 90* bended hose that goes directly to the heater valve. The only thing I don't like though is that it runs right by the wiring to the TPS and IAC. In fact, the TPS wiring is rubbing on it, so I covered up the TPS wirng with plastic conduit but I doubt that provides any real heat protection. What did you guys do to solve this? Or did you guys just leave it as is?

I ran a 90* brass fitting in the intake and a slight "S" shape hose (i guess its more just offset than anything) but its not that close to my wires and I'm not worried about it.

Re: Question for those with Throttle Body coolant bypass

The temp of the heater hose will not damage the TPS wires. But putting a cover on the wires to prevent them from rubbing is a good idea. You will be fine until you find a hose that's got a more ideal bend to it.

I used one of the heater core hoses with a slight S shape to it. Worked perfectly and I remember running into what you are running into.
