Hey guys, quick question. I'm installing a new AC condenser into my Trans Am after yanking out the old AC components a few years ago. Now I just can't remember if there's any sort of upper mount on the condenser. I know the bottom sits in those little rubber "mounts" that also hold the bottom of the radiator, but I can't remember what the top fits into, if there is anything.

Nevermind, found a box full of old AC parts and found the upper rubber mounts.

 

I gotta bring this thread back from the dead, I'm trying to go back together with the condenser/radiator assembly after having it torn apart since 2012 and can not for the life of me remember how the top of the condenser mounts in. Can anybody enlighten me? Pictures of the actual mount would be great! Thanks in advance.

 

The condenser slips into the rubber supports at the bottom, and then there's a pair of stubby rubber supports that go over the top, when the condenser is tilted forward into place little rubber barbs on the upper supports pop into the radiator support. The radiator further presses against the upper supports so they can't pop out.

 

I guess I've gone full retard. I didn't think any other mounting pads went into the radiator support other than the two for each side of the radiator. Anybody have a pic?

I've been searching threads trying to find this for an hour. Thank God someone had an answer. Don't suppose anyone has a source for the upper mounts? My car didn't have a condenser when I bought it...
