Flex-a-lite 31149 Fan Controller
Re: Flex-a-lite 31149 Fan Controller
I guess what it boils down to is what amperage does the stock dual fan setup draw? What does each fan draw when it first starts up and when it is running? The flex a lite controller is rated for a combined 40 amps, so if both fans won't draw more than 40 amps combined at startup (they would be wired to come on together at the same time), then it should be good.

If this is the one that is a black box with the **** on front for dialing in when you want the fan to come then I have been using it with the Taurus fan. It works perfectly.

i am using this one and it is just slightly more. actually this is the fourth flexalite controller i have used. it comes on at 60% at first and speeds up to 100% only if needed.

your factory dual fans wont draw more than my 4th gen fans or the big truck flex fans I have used. they are like 40 amps. it will work great.
