leaking antifreeze HELP NEEDED

1986 camaro iroc z 305 tpi

okay,i bought this car a few weeks ago and it was fine but. it started getting very cold here. right around 30-45 degrees. and i noticed one day just looking under the car it was leaking a little coolant under the radiator. on the passenger side right under the plug in the radiator. so i had the plug replaced, it seemed to be fine after that for a few days and then it came back in the same spot. but wasnt leaking bad and it was holding antifreeze in the tank. so i kept driving from my house to work and back. well i woke up today and went outside and checked it and it looked like it had leaked way more on the pan under the radiator. and it has spread it seems down the pan. the actual drip on the floor isnt big its the size of a silver dollar but that doesnt really matter im guessing. after noticing the mass amount of coolant on the pan. i open the hood and my antifreeze tank is almost completly empty ive checked the hoses and they all seem fine no coolant around them. im thinking it could be a bad radiator. but not sure im hoping maybe some of you could help here are some pics of the pan and some from the top of the radiator i tried my best to take good pics. but my camera sucks

dry it off fill it back up , unplug the fan start it up watch for the leak as it warms up make sure it doesn't overheat too bad once the gague reaches 3/4 shut it off let it cool . if the fan is on when you look for the leak it eill blow the antifreeze everywhere and you wont be able to find the leak. I'm guessing its the rad . just a guess though.

Make sure your hose clamps are all tight, I had this issue on mine and my lower radiator hose wasn't fillet seated and the clamp was alittle lose. Check those first

Re: leaking antifreeze HELP NEEDED

there are testers that most parts stores have as loaners . install cap , pump up/pressurise system , leak shows up , fix leak . easy fix , good luck .

Re: leaking antifreeze HELP NEEDED

Look at the bottom of the lower radiator hose (the one in that last pic) from underneath. If you see green juice running down the outside of it, you need a water pump.
