Factory oil cooler lines

Hello everybody,
The factory oil cooler lines that carry coolant to and from the oil filter adapter are leaking on my 92. I took a picture of where the crimp has split and failed. Has anybody else found a replacement line or a way to fix this?

May be able to remove the lines, split the crimp ferrules off carefully with a cut off wheel, take to NAPA or a Federated parts store and have them crimp new hoses and new ferrules onto existing line fittings???? That's what I would do if it were in my shop.

Does the rubber line have to be attached by crimping? Can I cut off the split part and attach new hose with a spring clamp like the rest of the hoses?

You CAN, but it wont last. If your going to take it off and fix it, you might as well do it the right way. An industrial crimp should last longer than the hole its self. (Yours is the only exception to this I have ever seen)
