Looking for those running stainless hoses
I'm wondering if someone could explain to me why my stainless steel lower radiator hose keeps blowing out of the rubber coupler when the engine temp goes over about 205*? It's happened 3 times now. Hasn't happened in months because I have the fan turn-on temp at 195*, but the poor heat is killing me. My defroster is only clearing half of my windshield at the moment and it's pretty cold in the car. I can't turn the fan turn-on temp up or I'm going to lose another 2 gallons of coolant!
Yes, the clamp on the rubber coupler is tight (I even used a ratchet on it). No, I don't have this issue with the water pump end of the hose or any other hose in the cooling system. No, the coupler doesn't blow off of the radiator, the stainless hose blows out of the coupler (which I had to take the aluminum sleeve off of because my radiator's lower hose connection points DOWN
). Only reason I'm not using a stock hose is because it gets pinched badly against my wonder bar... The ONLY full rubber hose I'm using right now is the upper radiator hose because I need to get another stainless one (changed upper hose setup too many times and cut it up too much), and I'm not having these issues with ANY other hose.
Any opinions?

Without seeing the problem this answer might not be the best in the known universe however, you can bond the stainless to the adaptor with marine grade polyurethane sealant.
Use 3M brand only.
It’s the same type used by yacht manufactures.

Like I said, almost every single time the engine temp gets over about 205*, the lower stainless radiator hose blows itself out of the rubber coupler, which stays attached to the radiator with both hose clamps attached. No, I don't have a sharp bend right next to the coupler as the hose is perfectly straight for about 6" or better before making the first bend after the radiator. No, I don't seem to have an issue with the recovery bottle or hose. I'll double check this, but I replaced the coolant bottle, which didn't have an obstruction at the hose connection, and I haven't ever had an issue with the hose between the bottle and the radiator.
