A/C Compressor Brackets

Hi,

I'm working on this 87 firebird I bought and some previous owner removed the
a/c compressor. I'm wanting to put a compressor back in. However I do believe its missing some brackets. So what brackets do I need ? The car has a 305 in it.

I've tried looking at stores like Autozone for compressor brackets but they don't have any. Which vehicles can I get the brackets from that will work.
Doesn't have to be from a firebird. Ones that will "work" are fine by me.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Re: A/C Compressor Brackets

Yes you are missing one major bracket. Goes on top and in front. It's big.

You can get it from about any 83-ish to 87 car or truck w small block Chevy.

Looks like your motor could use a trip to the quarter car wash.

Cool thanks.

Yeah it could use a wash, among other things.
