Clicking noise right side low??

Hay guys,

I was working on my ac and found a green wire under the right side of the dash that was cut, so I reconnected it and now When I turn the key off I get a clicking noise, like a electrical motor with a stripped gear, under the dash or maybe in the engine compartment in the right side kick panel. so I cut the green wire that I connected earlier and the clicking stopped???

Any idea's what this is??

Thanks

Re: Clicking noise right side low??

We have an 84 with carb. When key is first turned, the carb has a solenoid that clicks for a short time. Don't know if that helps. Maybe somebody else would have an idea if you gave some information about what car you have.

Re: Clicking noise right side low??

complete your profile . if the car in question is a YUGO it could be the linear framitz , if a AUDI the SAS system , maybe it's KIA then the redundant muffler bearing . what car your asking about might be helpful . hope it's not a YUGO . good luck .

Re: Clicking noise right side low??

That's probably your power antenna motor. Most likely someone cut the power wire when the plastic broke inside the antenna.
