Car: 1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula
Engine: 305 5.0 TBI
r12 to r134

has anyone tried using this kit from idq?

they have a video on youtube for it..seems pretty straight-forward

any info on this kit is appreciated..just trying to find my cheapest route for cold air

yes that would work. you will need to know how much r-12 your car holds and than make the adjustments to how much r-134 you need. It won't be the same.

follow this link and it should help you get the right amount of 134 compared to r-12
