Weiand G Team water pump leaking..

Hey all, Thanks in advance. So I purchased the Weiand G team water pump for my stroker. It is great and moves the fluid around well and keeps her cool. The problem I am having is when I get in higher rmps (4000-5500) it blows the seal on the back of the pump and squirts like a super soaker. I have taken the back plate off and the casting is true. The plate is true and fits nice. I replaced the gasket several times switching different kinds of gasket shmew seeing if one works better. The first time it happened my hood was off and it scared the poop out of me cause I thought it was a fuel line. So Im wondering if anyone else has had this problem or similar problems and may have some advice. I called summit and asked them but they didnt know nuttin. I am thinking about drilling and tapping another set of holes but for it to blow like that, there has to be some pretty good pressure/resistance. Little engine info. Older 70s 4 bolt block. Dart heads, rmp air gap. Maybe there is some restriction with the heads or intake? Im pretty sure they are all the same or similar... Thanks!
