leaking intake manifold?

I just bought a 98 Malibu LS and its leaking engine coolant and the guy I bought it off said it needs a intake gasket. There is nothing mixed in with the oil when I checked the oil but I can smell coolant in the exhaust the engine overheats, the engine idles rough and runs rough when sitting at a stoplight the engine stalled but started right up but I have to put the car in neutral at a stoplight to keep it from stalling. I've noticed a leak on the engine towards the bottom of the engine; so is this just the intake manifold and gaskets needing replaced or could there be more?

Re: leaking intake manifold?

If you can smell coolant in the exhaust, I'd be worried about the head or head gasket.

FWIW, this is a 3rd gen (1982-92) Camaro and Firebird forum...you're probably not going to get much help in fixing a later model grocery getter.
